simply scribbled.




I was strolling through some websites and came across an artist by the name of Marc Johns who's work I really, really appreciate. The simplicity of it all is a characteristic that I'm sure a lot of people don't "get", but I've always been much more of a MoMA fan than a MET fan anyway. The one image that captivated me the most from his website wasn't even of one of his drawings, but rather a picture that depicts the length to which one of his enthusiasts took and interpreted his work. According to Marc Johns' website, the girl shown above is Luciana from Brazil, who admired his "world famous drawing" piece enough to get a version tattooed on her shoulder. Pretty freaking awesome, if you ask me.
